A major controversy has erupted in South Korea following a report from the Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI). The report suggests that public health institutions should actively provide personal disease and health information to artificial intelligence companies to foster industry growth.

They expressed particular concern over the sharing of complex data types that are difficult to fully anonymize.
