Many beginners see the word 꽃kkot and try to pronounce the ㅊ sound at the end, or look at 있다itda and wonder why it doesn't sound like 'is-ta'. In Korean, while there are many final consonants, they all collapse into just 7 representative sounds when spoken.

This sound occurs when the final consonant (Batchim) is ㄱㄱ, ㅋㅋ, or ㄲㄲ. Regardless of the complexity of the letter, the air is cut off at the back of the throat.
Meaning range (what it can/can’t mean)
It represents a 'stopped' K sound. You don't release a puff of air like in the English word 'kick'; you simply close the throat.

It is a stopped T sound. Your tongue touches the back of your upper teeth and stays there.
